Matthew Rudy has been making books, magazine articles and digital content for more than 25 years. He is the Senior Instruction Writer at Golf Digest, where he has produced more than two dozen cover stories since 1999 with players and teachers like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, Hank Haney and Dave Stockton. Since his first one in 1997 (The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Golf, a cult classic!), Matthew has ghostwritten more than 25 sports and business books for conventional publishers with prominent coaches, peak performance experts and business leaders like Haney, Stockton, Stan Utley, Dr. Michael Lardon, Dr. Jason Selk, Tom Bartow and Bryan Dodge. Matthew is a native of Saginaw, Michigan. He earned a journalism degree from Michigan State in 1994 and an MBA with a specialization in management from Fairfield University in 2007. He lives in Easton, Connecticut with his wife and three daughters.
